GPS communication and navigation performance is predominantly effected by ionospheric variations. More care and attention is required to predict the variations of the ionospheric errors for the GNSS signal delays. However, various aspects were explored through physical models, climatological modelling of ionosphere, assimilation and time series modelling techniques.
